The Formula

An equation that measures quality across three dimensions.

The QEN score results from three weighted components capturing the fundamental value dimensions: social, environmental and territorial.

QEN = (Vs × 0.40) + (Va × 0.35) + (Vt × 0.25)
Vs — Social Value Workforce inclusion and diversity, stable employment contracts, continuous training, employee welfare and accessibility for vulnerable groups. dominant weight · 40%
Va — Environmental Value Active environmental certifications, energy consumption efficiency, local (km0) sourcing, waste management and recycling, verifiable carbon footprint. secondary weight · 35%
Vt — Territorial Value Rooting in geographic context, local identity, short supply chain and ecosystem belonging. complementary weight · 25%
