The trade names QEN, Quantificazione Etica Naturale, Quantification of Ethical Naturalness, CognitiveLogic and Cognitive Logic, together with the related logos and visual identity, are the exclusive property of the author. Unauthorised use of the mark constitutes unfair competition under Articles 2598 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code.

Prohibited Uses and Legal Consequences

The following are expressly prohibited without the owner's prior written authorisation:

— Total or partial reproduction of the VEN(A) formula and the QEN framework for commercial purposes

— Use of the algorithm in products, services or publications without explicit attribution

— Registration of the "QEN", "CognitiveLogic" mark or variants thereof in any jurisdiction

— Training AI models on this site's content without a licence

— Reverse engineering or decompiling the proprietary source code

Applicable Legal Remedies

In the event of a proven infringement, the owner reserves the right to pursue the following legal remedies:

  • Civil action for damages — Art. 158 of Law 633/1941: the owner may claim compensation for both actual loss and loss of profit resulting from the infringement.
  • Injunctive relief — Art. 156 of Law 633/1941: immediate cessation of unauthorised use by court order.
  • Seizure and destruction — Art. 160 of Law 633/1941: seizure of unauthorised copies and destruction of infringing material.
  • Criminal penalties — Arts. 171 et seq. of Law 633/1941: copyright infringement for profit is a criminal offence punishable by up to 4 years' imprisonment.
  • EU trade mark infringement — Reg. (EU) 2017/1001: unauthorised use of the registered mark is actionable in all 27 EU Member States.
  • Unfair competition — Arts. 2598 et seq. of the Italian Civil Code: slavish imitation and misappropriation of another's achievements are acts of unfair competition actionable before the Business Court.
